Machine Maker is a trendsetter when it comes to experimenting and innovating new ways of communications, and bringing revolutionary changes in the way media works for Indian Manufacturing. They are applauded globally for their approach, and several people now follow their format in print as well as digital media.
“We were one of the first media houses to stop what we were doing for years by stopping publishing a successfully run print magazine Industrial Business MART during 2017 when we realised the way the business is run is not really helping our stakeholders – readers as well as our advertisers”, said Hari Shanker, Managing Editor of Machine Maker, when asked about the new venture.
After stopping MART, with 9 months of market research, the group launched the online format – www.themachinemaker.com, first of its kind storytelling platform for Manufacturing, became a hit among the readers and roared to the leading position within six months of its launch since February 2018. Today, Machine Maker is available on Print, Digital and Online platforms, and the most read media tools in Indian Manufacturing.
With Friday Debate with Machine Maker, the group is expecting to create another benchmarking on video content and webinars organised for manufacturing. “After the lockdown, we witnessed a lot of webinars, and now, unfortunately, it's becoming boring for people. This is where we thought, to keep the interest about the format, which is one of the best ways to keep engaged with industry, bring out an interesting way of communicating, and a weekly debate show is getting launched on 3rd July 2020”, mentioned Hari Shanker, who is also the host of the show.
The first show is focussed on “Challenges of Startups in Indian Manufacturing”. Amidst the present crisis the whole world is undergoing and after the absolute freeze in the economy, industries have suffered huge losses and are struggling to survive. At the same time, the government is urging Indian Industries to become self-reliant and produce within the borders. The only way out of this economic mishap is by setting up more startups and revive the existing ones gradually.
Startups have been on vogue in India for some time; many youngsters just out of college are making news and becoming successful entrepreneurs. Some are making a difference by their innovative ventures in the Indian manufacturing industry, even when it is not looked upon keenly by many.
Machine Maker urges such entrepreneurs to debate upon such challenges, help us reach the crux of the issues faced by them, and suggest how we can empower the manufacturing industries and the Make in India drive to become Aatmanirbharbharat!
Four Founders, Bulusu Chaitanya of Pather Solutions, Khushboo Shrivastava of Coulomb AI, Akshay Singh of BigZero Technology and Gnanakumara Swamy of ARMIS India will be talking about their challenges setting up their startups in India, where Kishor Jagirdar, a well known social entrepreneur from Bangalore, who is also a Startup Mentor & Angel Investor with Ipreneur Startup Accelerator will give his perspective, to start the debate.
This weekly debate is not only going to be entertaining but also enlightening. This show is for all those people who think to learn from the people who have actually faced the reality to be more fruitful than estimating facts. Be there to witness an enriching session, scheduled from 4 pm to 5.30 pm this coming Friday.
