Hannover Messe 2020 to focus on Industrial Transformation; The way forward for Global Manufacturing

“Transformation is everywhere. Its heart beats in Hannover” mans the cover page of Hannover Messe 2019 brochure which was shared with the manufacturing-focused media delegation at Mumbai today. HANNOVER MESSE the numero uno trade show for Manufacturing is all set to host their 2020 edition from 20th and 24th April 2020 at Hannover Germany with digitalization as their focus theme – Industrial Transformation.

As quoted by Dr. Jochen Kockler, Chairman of the Managing Board at Deutsche Messe, as Hannover Messe being a globally recognized brand, no longer sub-brands such as CeMAT, Digital Factory or IAMD will be used to promote the show. The 2020 Hannover Messe will act as the driver for industrial transformation the way forward with the manufacturing industry globally going through a rough phase.

Through the focused theme, Hannover Messe 2020 will focus on six core sectors – Automation, Motion & Drives, Digital Ecosystems, Energy Solutions, Engineered Parts, Future Hubs and Logistics. This year the event will also act as a global platform for start-ups where more than 150 young industrial companies are expected to showcase their innovations.

Hannover Messe 2020 will be hosting more than 80 conferences and will witness the return on Industrial Pioneers Summit which debuted this year’s edition. Global Manufacturing Industrialisation Summit which is intended to promote sustainable industrial development through innovations will be the new highlight of 2020.

Running up to the event Hannover Milano Fairs India hosted a lunch interactive session at The Oberoi Hotel, Mumbai where Geeta Bisht, Director Hannover India, Mukesh Samtani, Assistant Director EEPC India, Divya Lad, Project Manager Hannover Messe and Priya Sachdeva of Hannover India interacted with the media.
