Initiating its operations in 2016 under the division of Taegutec India P Limited, Duracarb India offers the complete range of latest tools for turning, milling and hole making applications.
DURACARB is the youngest member of IMC (International Metal Working Companies) which is in the business of carbide cutting tools used in general purpose machining, at industries such as Auto, Auto Ancillaries, Die & Mold, and General Engineering.
Products showcased and star product at IMTEX 2019
At IMTEX 2019, the company has showcased a complete range of tools for major machining applications like Turning, Milling, Parting & Grooving, Threading and Hole Making.
Their strong milling programme of D-Mill high positive multi-edge single sided inserts, D2- Mill Multi-edge double-sided inserts, D-Mill High Feed for low depths high feed milling, and D-Drill for hole making were the star attractions at IMTEX 2019. Further, their new offering, the full range of SMART TURN- MINI LINE, regular inserts in smaller sizes targeting tool cost reduction in turning applications was very well received.
In D-MILL Programme, the main offerings are strong double-sided milling inserts for higher depth of cuts and table feeds in face and shoulder milling, and strong high positive single sided inserts for low powered machines, slender component machining and ramping.
In the D-DRILL programme, the unique feature is that it uses four cutting Edge strong SPMX square inserts, common for centre and periphery.

Starting its IMTEX journey from 2017, Duracarb has raised high to become one among the preferred supplier of Carbide cutting tools for customers in the country. The customer response obtained by the company was an overwhelming one.

Expansion plans
The company’s growth is based on two major aspects:
- Consolidation – Duracarb has started servicing many customers now and currently are one among the preferred suppliers for them at this stage. They are working hard to quickly become a preferred supplier of carbide cutting tools.
- Geography and reach – The Company plans to expand its regions around India so as to serve the customers in a better and perfect way.
