A practitioner of physics and a mechanical engineer specializing in Dynamics, Controls, Optimization and Data science, Krishnarao has an eminent experience in working for interesting programs on energy and transportation at GE research. The algorithms that come with any product development to harness data for better solutions amazes Krishnarao.
An IIT Kharagpur graduate who pursued to complete his PhD at IIT Bombay, is a proud engineer who has experience in working with big companies such as General Electric (GE), Mahindra and suSOL to his credit. A major contributor in the Mathematical modelling, Controls and Optimization problems, Krishnarao recognizes working at GE to be a springboard for his career proficiency.
After working as a researcher at GE for more than 7 years, he continued his passion for physics by teaching grad-kids at CMR Institute of Technology, Bangalore. They say “Imparting knowledge is also a form of learning”, which was handy for him during his tenure working for CMRIT as an Associate Professor. He taught sort-after subjects of mechanical engineering such as Advanced Vibrations, Design Optimization, Smart Materials and Structures. Even as an educator, his true-calling was still research in mechanical engineering where he took many PhD students under his guidance.

Working on enhancing reliability using technologies such as controls and data analytics, Krishnarao and his team aims to spin the market of cycle with Felidae ebikes.
