The Aluminium Casters' Association of India (ALUCAST) is a registered body, with Head Office at Pune, Maharashtra. It is managed by a Board of Trustees whose members includes manufacturers of Aluminium castings, users of castings, manufacturers and suppliers of die-casting machines and peripherals for die- casting machines, foundry chemicals and consumables, design software, casting process simulation software, dies and others connected with casting manufacture and post casting processes.

NürnbergMesse is one of the 15 largest exhibition companies in the world and is very optimistic about the growth of the event and the industry. The portfolio covers some 120 national and international exhibitions and congresses and approx. 40 sponsored pavilions at the Nuremberg location and worldwide. With a 15% percent growth over last edition, ALUCAST 2018 promises to be bigger and better than before. These impressive numbers correspond to the growing importance of the die casting industry in India” Says Ms. Chuggani.

A Technical Conference spanning all three days will feature presentation of articles by internationally recognised experts on diverse aspects of die casting technology which are emerging and are likely to greatly influence the manner in which die cast parts are conceived, produced and used. The technical papers will be supplemented by Product Presentations, introducing some of the most significant recent advances. The Manufacturing Process, Manufacturing Equipment, Materials used and Part Design are the four pillars which derive strength and benefit from any advancement in Die Casting Technology.

The conference at ALUCAST by focusing on the above topics, aims to assist the Die Casting community in India to remain technologically advanced and competitive. To remain competitive sustained efforts are needed to continuously raise the bar on productivity, quality, ease of manufacture and appropriate technology.

ALUCAST 2018 will present and highlight leading players from the segment offering innovative solutions. Concurrent to the conference, the Exhibition with over 7000SqM area, housing approximately 150 exhibitors will showcase Machines, Accessories, Dies, Materials, and Services with the latest technology. Aluminum Casting and its alloys are going to play a very important role in the future of our automotive & engineering industries. lesser weight is the key to efficiency for any moving machine or part, and what better than aluminum. with the advent of modern metallurgy, alloying & melting techniques and the metal additive technology - 3D printing, we shall see unleashing of a tremendous potential of Aluminum in India as well. Have visited several foundries in Italy producing Aluminum castings - they have gained a lot of experience, time has come to partner them and bring the technology to India, and get fast on the changing metal culture of the world..
