Hindu College Alumni, Rucheeka Chhugani is an acclaimed innovator, strategist, researcher, communicator, translator, content creator and overall the business administrator. Her peripheral is with Indo German Chamber of Commerce as an Assistant General Manager, but now she is leading Alucast 2018 Exhibition, with NürnbergMesse India Pvt. Ltd.

In a prolonged discussion with Rucheeka on the Industry, she introduced us to Alucast 2018 – The International Conference and Exhibition on Die Casting Technology which will be held at the India Expo Mart (IEML), Greater Noida, U.P. (Delhi-NCR) on 6 – 8 December 2018. The theme for this year event is “Emerging Trends in Die Casting Technology”.

The Aluminium Casters' Association of India (ALUCAST) is a registered body, with Head Office at Pune, Maharashtra. It is managed by a Board of Trustees whose members includes manufacturers of Aluminium castings, users of castings, manufacturers and suppliers of die-casting machines and peripherals for die- casting machines, foundry chemicals and consumables, design software, casting process simulation software, dies and others connected with casting manufacture and post casting processes.

NürnbergMesse is one of the 15 largest exhibition companies in the world and is very optimistic about the growth of the event and the industry. The Manufacturing Process, Manufacturing Equipment, Materials used and Part Design are the four pillars which derive strength and benefit from any advancement in Die Casting Technology.

The conference at ALUCAST by focusing on the above topics, aims to assist the Die Casting community in India to remain technologically advanced and competitive.To remain competitive sustained efforts are needed to continuously raise the bar on productivity, quality, ease of manufacture and appropriate technology.
