Seminar on ADR in the context of Shareholders Rights and IPR

Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and International Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ICADR), Regional Centre, Hyderabad, jointly are organizing a Seminar on ‘Alternative Dispute Resolution in the context of Shareholders Rights & IPR’ on 28 April, 2018 at ICADR, Regional Centre, Nampally, Hyderabad.

The key objectives of the seminar will be to create awareness about ADR in resolving IPR disputes and introduce its benefits, share experiences and best practices in arbitration and mediation and other ADR mechanisms in resolving disputes, discuss ADR mechanisms in India and abroad for the resolution of national and cross-border IPR disputes, provide practical tips for managing arbitration and meditation and along with drafting effective agreements and clauses.

The seminar will include the following sections -

Demystifying facets of ADR: Where does Alternative Dispute Resolution fit in today’s globalized world?

Managing Arbitration & Mediation: Productive mechanisms in resolving IPR (Patent, Trademark, Copyright, Trade secret, Industrial Design) disputes,

Avoiding litigations: The evolving landscape of ADR as an alternative business strategy,

Drafting air-tight clauses: Tip and Tricks for Effective Mediation and Arbitration Clauses and Submission Agreements,

Participants for the seminar include budding entrepreneurs, managers/executives in startups and professionals in various functional areas of small & mid-sized companies such as research and development, design, legal and IP departments, business development, directors of organizations, lawyers, research scientists, professors and directors, head of the departments and other senior level executives from various educational and R&D institutes.
