TAGMA International Tooling Summit 2019 kick starts at Pune

TAGMA INTERNATIONAL TOOLING SUMMIT 2019

International Tooling Summit 2019 organised by TAGMA kick-started today at Hyatt Regency in Pune with lightening of the lamp by Chief Guest Sunil Kakkar of Maruti Suzuki Limited, Saurabh Kumar from Ordinance Factory, representative of Peter Vetter from Buderus Edelstahl, D K Sharma, President TAGMA and Godrej & Boyce in front of a grandeur presence of the eminent personalities and delegates from different genres of the manufacturing industry.

Taking off their tooling journey in the year 2016, the International Tooling Summit organised by TAGMA has now become a platform for the Indian tool room professionals for knowledge sharing. It is a venture that provides the professionals to share ideas, learn from each other’s expertise, understand global trends and also build acquaintances.  The summit has been attracting the visitors and speakers from across the globe.

The first day started with the inauguration ceremony and lightening of the lamp. D K Sharma, the President of TAGMA India, welcomed is honorable guests with a crisp enlightening address in which he recalled the journey of TAGMA and its initiative of International Tooling Summit. He addressed “ITS aims to boost the industry engagement in the region and help local tool rooms explore business opportunities. TAGMA is doing everything to help Indian tool rooms enhance their capabilities. From this ITS 2019 we look forward to coming together to discuss the business opportunities, challenges, technology trends, and future outlook.”

Chief Guest Sunil Kakkar, Executive Director, Maruti Suzuki India Limited in his address congratulated Indian manufactures for producing world-class components, and he urged the industry to adopt latest technologies. Guest of honor Saurabh Kumar, DGOF & Chairman for Ordnance Factory Board informed the importance Government and Public Sector Undertakings given for Making in India, to promote local manufacturing. Another Guest of Honor Peter Vetter, Head of quality planning tool steels, Buderus Edeldtahi was not able to attend the function due to health issues, but he made it sure that his representative presented his view to the august audience.

International Tooling Summit is going to be a 2 days event which will witness the guests from different fields and regions discussing a broad spectrum of topics from the machining and tooling genres.  Not only this, but the event would also spectate different entertaining and leisure activities and also, not to forget the scrumptious and appetizing food to gorge on.
