Premier Laser, a division of Premier United Pvt. Ltd., is exhibiting at Engimach 2021 in Gandhinagar, offering the most advanced technologies in the CNC laser cutting segment, catering to India’s metal fabrication industry

Premier Laser is a leading brand within the Premier United corporation, which provides manufacturing and consulting services to industrial players in India’s metal fabrication sector.

The parent company was founded in 1972 as an ESAB dealer and later shifted its focus to the manufacturing sector. The company overcame the problems associated with the influx of Chinese products during the early 1990s globalization period by importing the equipment and customizing it to the needs of its customers.

As the company grew, it looked into opportunities in the semi-automated and automated segments, expanding its product line to include CNC gas cutting and plasma machines.

Premier Lasers was rebranded in 2007 as it made sense to expand into the CNC laser cutting segment after expanding its business in the gas cutting and plasma cutting fields.

Premier Laser’s directors worked with a few CNC laser cutting equipment manufacturers in China. An agreement was signed with a company in Wuxi, China, for the supply of customized CNC laser cutting equipment. The agreement will be in effect for ten years from the date of signing.

Premier Laser imports these custom-made machines from China and sells them under its brand name in the Indian market. The company specializes in large format machines as well as specialized equipment machines.

Premier Laser has previously installed numerous machines with a 6 KW capacity and now offers 12 KW machines on the market. In Pune, the company recently installed one of India’s largest single table format machines. Premier Laser intends to establish a demo center in Mumbai to house the machines on display at the Engimach exhibition.

When discussing the demo center with the Machine Maker team, Juzer Contractor, Sales Director, Premier Laser, stated, “The demo center is aimed at demonstrating the performance of the machines that the company is offering.”

“We want to sell trust, not products. If our clients have faith in us and our products, our job becomes easier, and the clients can see the machine working at full capacity with their own eyes,” Juzer added.

Premier Laser was born and raised in the metal industry and is well-versed in its intricacies.

“Rather than pushing our products on our customers, we understand their needs and recommend products that meet those needs.” This in-depth understanding has greatly aided us, and by the grace of God, we have been able to install 48 systems across India,” he added.

Premier Laser generates approximately Rs 10 crore in gross revenue.

A company’s statement said, the response in Engimach has been phenomenal thus far, and the company has received a significant number of inquiries. Premier Laser, in addition to Engimach, will be present at the upcoming Laser World of Photonics exhibition and is planning to attend IMTEX 2022.

Asked about the company’s and the industry’s future, Mr Contractor stated, “The future is looking bright, both for the company and the industry.” With the world on the mend, exhibitions like Engimach are providing the needed impetus to the industrial sector and playing a critical role in reviving the country’s economy.”

Premier Laser has ambitious plans in the works to help the company reach its full potential as soon as possible. Premier Laser plans to establish 80 installations across India by the end of 2023. The company is also looking for opportunities to enter the European market and collaborate with European industry giants in order to keep up with the competition in today’s fast-changing world.
