With a philosophy of being better every day and emphasizing on the need for quality, HAIMER India works as a producer and designer of high precision products for metal cutting and other industries.   HAIMER Group, the world market leader in tool shrinking and balancing technology has now become a system provider for the entire tool management process.

Headquartered in Pune, Haimer India Pvt. Limited is all geared up to show how medium-sized companies can set up their tool management for the future at India’s biggest manufacturing exhibition, IMTEX. This solution is particularly suitable for medium-sized companies, where large, complex tool management systems would be too demanding and expensive.

Implementation

The task would happen in a total of six stations. The first station is where the generated job for complete tool assembly gets transferred from CAD/CAM system to tool management and vending system. Next, the needed component gets commissioned by the means of job instructions. For the third station, the commissioned components get assembled on a shrink fit machine, HAIMER Power Clamp i4.0.Once the complete tool assembly has been generated, the job is sent to Microset VIO linear presetter and the TD Comfort Plus i4.0 balancing machine, where tool measurement and balancing can take place. Lastly, the actual tool values are transmitted to the machine tool control via the central interface all hardware components communicate with – the HAIMER DAC (Data Analyzer & Controller).

At the center of this process, the chain is the HAIMER DAC (Data Analyzer and Controller), a software solution that enables and manages the exchange of target and actual values and other tool data between the individual stations and the corporate network.
